Day 1: Ljubljana Airport-Portorož

Arrival at the Ljubljana airport, pick up of the rental car and trip to the Slovenian coast. In the afternoon, we recommend a visit to the salt mines or a dip in the Adriatic. Overnight. 

Day 2: Portorož-Piran-Portorož

Breakfast. Drive to Piran and walk through the birthplace of the Baroque composer Giuseppe Tartini. The main square bears his name and is in the place, where in the past there was a fishing port. Venetian and Austro-Hungarian buildings surround the square, including the "Benecanka" house and the church of San Jorge that dominates the city. We invite you to multimedia museum to discover Piran’s history through an interactive 3D film. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight. 

Day 3: Portorož-Škocjan Cave-Lipica stud farm-Ljubljana

Breakfast. Today we suggest you to visit the Škocjan Caves with the largest known underground canyon in the world. Then drive to Lipica stud farm, the pioneer in breeding Lipizzaner white horses. In 1580 the Archduke Charles II of Austria decided to buy an abandoned building in the region of Kras and found a stud for the needs of the Viennese court palace. Drive to Ljubljana. Overnight.

Day 4: Ljubljana

Breakfast. Ljubljana invites you to stroll through the old town, climb the castle with a beautiful view or simply relax by the river with a drink. The Slovenian capital is an architectural jewel: the mix of Baroque style with the modernist and the work of the architect Jože Plečnik are the special ingredient of its charm. The city has several cultural events and an impressive night and social life. Overnight. 

Day 5: Ljubljana-Logar Valley-Ljubljana

Breakfast. Travel to the mountainous part of the country, to the wonderful Valley of Logar, known as one of the most beautiful Alpine glacial valley in Europe. Trails through the pristine green nature, forests, waterfalls and the Savinja River form a bucolic environment. There is a nice fairytale forest hidden in an unspoiled nature of the valley that invites children and adults to discover it. We recommend you to drive by car along the Solčava panoramic road that passes through the most outstanding attractions and farms that offer homemade products. Back to Ljubljana. Overnight. 

Day 6: Ljubljana-Bled-Bohinj-Kranjska Gora

Breakfast. Travel to the famous Lake Bled, where you can take a boat trip to visit the island of Bled or climb the castle to enjoy the breathtaking view. Travel to Bohinj. The largest lake in Slovenia is embraced by the Julian Alps and is located in the Triglav National Park. During her visit in Bohinj, Agatha Christie said: “Bohinj is too beautiful for a murder.” You can choose between kayaks or canoes to go to discover by yourselves this Alpine Jewel. Drive to Kranjska Gora. Overnight. 

Day 7: Kranjska Gora-Vršič-Bovec-Kranjska Gora

Breakfast. Crossing the Julian Alps is a unique experience: virgin forests, remnants of the First World War and the 1611 meters of the Vršič mountain pass. Going down through the Soča Valley, you will stop at Bovec, the aquatic activities center: rafting, canyoning, zip line, kayak, etc. An unforgettable rafting along the Soča River is included in the price! Back to Kranjska Gora. Overnight. 

Day 8: Kranjska Gora and its surroundings

Breakfast. Day dedicated to the marvelous alpine surrounding of Kranjska Gora. In the morning, drive to Planica Nordic Centre. Are you ready for the most spectacular zipline in the world? You will descent the world’s biggest ski jumping hill! Afterwards, we recommend you to do an easy walk to the fairy-tale Tamar Valley. If you still have time in the afternoon, head to Peričnik waterfall in Vrata Valley. There is a nice Alpine museum in Mojstrana village where the walk begins. Overnight. 

*Zipline restrictions:

  • Physical restrictions are related particularly to minimum and maximum weight and height (minimum weight 30 kg, maximum weight 120 kg, minimum height 140 cm).
  • Children aged 5 or more, not less than 120 cm in height, can enjoy a tandem descent in the company of their parents or guardians, provided the total mass does not exceed 120 kg. 

Day 9: Kranjska Gora-Ljubljana Airport

Breakfast. Drive to Ljubljana airport and delivery of the rental car. End of our services.
